State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir has strongly responded to those criticizing the country's development and progress. He raised a question asking who gets so hurt when they see the country doing well. He made this remark while speaking at a program organized in Dhaka. He said some people fail to see any good work in the country.
The State Minister stated that Bangladesh is no longer lagging behind as it used to. The country is moving forward overcoming various obstacles. However, a certain group is constantly trying to defame the nation. They are even speaking against the country abroad, which is unacceptable.
During the event, he further mentioned that the current government is moving forward by maintaining friendship with all. Relations with other countries are being maintained while protecting national interests. Therefore, he expressed hope that no external pressure or criticism will stop the country's development.
Finally, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs urged everyone to work together for the sake of the country. He said that instead of negative politics, everyone should stand by the people. Political analysts believe he gave such a strong speech to counter the criticisms of the opposition.
