Party to select candidates based on local leaders' opinions

Political parties are bringing major changes to candidate selection ahead of the upcoming national election. Instead of imposing candidates from the center, the decision has been made to finalize nominations based directly on the opinions of local leaders and activists. Party policymakers stated that winning elections is difficult without grassroots support, leading to this new decision.

To avoid this issue, instructions have been given to prepare a shortlist of three candidates from each constituency and send it to the central office.

Meanwhile, central leaders mentioned that in addition to local opinions, multiple secret surveys are being conducted at the field level to verify the popularity and honesty of the candidates.
