Former President Ershad's ex-wife Bidisha arrested

Police have arrested Bidisha Ershad, the ex-wife of former President and Jatiya Party Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad. She was detained from her residence at President Park in Gulshan, Dhaka. The arrest was made in connection with a theft case filed by Ershad.

According to police sources, family and legal disputes had been ongoing between the former couple for some time. Ershad filed a case at the Gulshan Police Station, accusing Bidisha of theft. Following the complaint, police conducted a drive at the Gulshan residence and took her into custody.
