Jubo Dal leader hacked and injured by miscreants in Patuakhali

A local Jubo Dal leader was intercepted and seriously injured by miscreants with sharp weapons in Patuakhali. The injured leader was rescued in a bloody state and admitted to a local hospital. Doctors reported that he sustained severe injuries on various parts of his body.

According to local sources, a group of attackers lying in wait ambushed him on his way home last night. The attackers hacked him indiscriminately with sharp weapons. When locals rushed to the spot hearing his screams, the attackers fled. Later, locals rescued him and took him to the hospital.

Following the incident, local BNP and Jubo Dal leaders and activists expressed deep anger. They demanded the immediate identification and arrest of the attackers. Meanwhile, police said they visited the spot upon receiving the news and have launched a drive to arrest those involved.

Additional police have been deployed in the area to prevent any fresh tension. Doctors are monitoring the physical condition of the injured leader. Police stated that preparations are underway to file a case over the incident, and swift action will be taken based on the investigation.
