Law Minister urges young lawyers not to chase money for success

The Law Minister has advised new lawyers to focus on learning the work instead of running after money to do well in the legal profession. He urged them to work with honesty and dedication. The minister said that those who only chase money cannot go far in this profession. Therefore, they must first try to become good lawyers.

The minister made these remarks while addressing young lawyers at a program held in Dhaka recently. Sharing his own experience, he said that one has to work hard at the beginning of a legal career. However, if one learns the work with patience, there is no looking back. He urged the youth to spend more time on study and research.

Senior lawyers present at the program also agreed with the minister's statement. They said that newcomers should study major cases thoroughly and observe court proceedings carefully. It is not possible to become a good lawyer just by thinking about earning money. The youth must step forward to ensure people's right to legal services.

The Law Minister expressed hope that the new generation of lawyers would strengthen the country's judicial system. They will provide free legal aid to the poor and helpless. If work is done properly, it will be easier to establish justice in society and the respect of lawyers will also increase.
