The wife of an army member was killed after being hit by a speeding bus while riding a motorcycle. The army member himself was seriously injured in the accident and has been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
According to eyewitnesses, a fast-moving bus hit their motorcycle on the road. The impact was so severe that the wife died on the spot. Upon receiving the news, police and fire service personnel arrived at the scene to conduct rescue operations.
Police officials stated that efforts are underway to seize the bus involved in the accident. However, the driver and the helper managed to flee the scene immediately after the incident. The injured army member is currently receiving treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
Such road accidents have become a daily occurrence on the country's highways. Despite repeated demands from the public and experts for safer roads, the situation has not improved significantly. Relatives of the deceased have demanded a proper investigation and justice for the incident.
