Raw materials for Heroin and LSD being sold online

Reports have emerged that raw materials for dangerous drugs like heroin and LSD are being sold online in Bangladesh. An organized syndicate is running this illegal trade using various social media platforms and secret websites. Taking orders online away from public view, they deliver these hazardous substances to buyers through courier services.

According to detective police sources, several drug consignments were seized in and around Dhaka over the past few months. Investigations subsequently revealed that the raw materials for these drugs are being imported from abroad under different names. The syndicate primarily targets youth, running their business through online groups where transactions are made via mobile banking.

Law enforcement officials stated that they have initiated operations to apprehend the members of this online drug ring. Cyber units of the police and intelligence agencies are closely monitoring suspicious pages and groups on the internet. Additionally, the administration is considering stricter regulations for sending parcels through courier services.

Experts suggest that cyber surveillance must be enhanced to stop the online sale of drug raw materials. At the same time, parents need to monitor their children's internet usage. They warn that if the ringleaders of this syndicate are not brought to justice quickly, the youth of the country will face severe risks.
