Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called upon all countries of the world to ensure trials for all types of war crimes and injustices. She stated that the entire world must work together to ensure justice for crimes against humanity. Everyone must ensure that no criminal goes unpunished. She believes this unity is crucial for establishing peace and justice globally.
Bangladesh has set a major example by prosecuting war criminals within its own borders. Those who committed atrocities against the people during the Great Liberation War of 1971 have been brought to justice. The Prime Minister believes that the experience of these trials can serve as a significant lesson for other countries. Bangladesh has always played a vocal role against any form of injustice.
The government has stated that Bangladesh is constantly working to establish peace and justice. It is essential to ensure justice for the wrongs committed against ordinary people in ongoing wars and conflicts in various parts of the world. Cooperation from all nations is required for this task. International courts and organizations need to play a more active role in this regard.
Analysts suggest that conducting such trials at the international level is quite difficult and time-consuming. However, if all countries work together, it will be possible to punish the perpetrators. As a result, it is hoped that the number of crimes worldwide will decrease significantly in the future, ensuring the safety of common people.
“The Prime Minister's call will further strengthen Bangladesh's position on the global stage. After successfully prosecuting war criminals at home, raising this demand internationally will brighten the country's image. However, building such unity will be challenging due to the complexities of global politics.”
